AA270 Silverface Vibrolux reverb

Guys trying to help a friend here. The amp works but the reverb only gets buzzy as the reverb comes up and no sound of the reverb pan when you shake it?

Any thoughts..... tubes are good.

Did you try reversing the leads to the reverb pan?

Also if you have the amp use the reverb pan from your Reverb Rocket to test the Fender reverb circuit.

Thanks Mark, my tank worked on the amp, so we pulled open the old tank and sure enough the ground wire had come loose.

I just went through this with a Blues Jr I found a wire had broke in the pan. Luckily I had the exact pan in my junk pile.
