cap surprise

Post by andrew »

I finally read the fake cap postings and I found 3 Elon caps in two amps. I opened up the three caps and it was kind of fun waiting for the surprise. They were all 500vt/20uf but one had a 160vt/100uf converted radial cap.The other two were also once radials with one unmarked and one wrapped in another 500vt/20uf wrapper. New cap time.

Isn't that weird.

Why in the world are they doing that? :x

Are they not making true axial caps anymore?

Somebody here had a Sprague that measured half value.

Joy.... bliss... free love and a free market. Just think, nearly all products
marketed in America to Americans could be just as bad, and we're just getting a clue.
Don't matter whether its an I-phone, toyota, or health care or immigration reform.
Some one out there is fully confident that we won't notice or care if we did.

DOAHHHHH...

I don't like it either, its dangerous, I am surprised that it keeps popping up.
Any other brands revealed to be fakes?

I was just in a BF super where the old bypass caps were restuffed with crap
and passed along as "original".

Confederate Crap Market

I can't fathom how this crap it profitable! All that work to disguise a shitty
little radial cap can't yield much profit until you start selling train loads.
Right?

They've started making feke Microtech OTF knives, chicken eggs, rare xistors, etc.. Hell yeah there are plenty of more items entering our country
every day. Americans are looking for the cheapest deal no matter what.

Sad, innit?
