Hey everyone,
So, I have a stash of about 100 random UOS (or NOS?...have no way to tell) tubes of the odd variety...ones used mostly for TV's, the occasional 6SN7, 5Y3, 6AQ5, etc..., and in looking around in them I noticed a 6AQ5A box, but when opened, it contained the tube pictured below. Obviously it's not a 6AQ5, but the question remains, what is it? It looks relatively unused....
The top has faint lettering "IV2" printed twice, but there are no other marks on it save for the yellow Raytheon lettering, etc..
Any ideas what this might be?

Re: Mystery tube!
Thanks! Wow...never thought that would be the designation....though that is kinda obvious, huh.
I assume these are a radio/tv tube? Any idea what they'd be used in?
