Also just a quick comment for those wondering why I’m trying to do this, it’s all part of an obsession I have for the 1959 circuit. I’ve been through it front to back and made test variations to achieve optimal tone, and the interaction of the 2 volume circuits is part of that. The intent isn’t to ONLY operate everything on ten, but to be able to do so if desired with great tone throughout regardless of settings. I’ve basically achieved that with the help of others so many thanks and appreciation!

in my example lst messge i ws half asleep the resistor over the volume pot would be 1meg

What exactly are you trying to get out of the amp though? Who makes the sound you really like?
