That's like when your ol' lady asks, "Does my ass look too fat in these jeans?" There really isn't any correct answer, is there?!
Only wrong ones. When she asks you that, you know you are screwed. Might as well have fun with it, like "Fat ass? What ass?"

As it goes I found a 5E6-A model. By the pot codes I put it @ late 56.

The Good - Original output and Choke, Almost complete sonically, changed presence pot and a couple Filter caps. Orig cab, Baffle and grill cloth, Original Bassman badge, decent chassis, orig knobs and pilot.

The Bad - No tube Chart, Power Transformer from a BF Twin Reverb, which means enlarged hole in chassis and hacked up speaker directly behind the honkin tranny. Of course SS rectifier. No handle, no glides, Wrong Back panels. Replaced fuse holder cap. Jensen MI-10's (similar to C10R's)

The Ugly - Recovered, poorly, in cheesy black Vynil. Back panels are made of pegboard and enclose the cab. Black cloth covered grille, luckily the stock stuff was under it, (whew!) a few small angle brackets holding the amp to the cab and the baffle to the cab?

I tried it, late at night, after I got it but couldn't turn it up loud and had a wanky top load Tele, sounded fine at low volume. It's at Skip Simmons Amp repair at the moment. Actually it may be in transit today.

Price tag? $1350.00

I'll drop a note after I plug it in!
