I'm building Hoffman's Stout 18-watt with reverb to put into my hacked Hammond console. I'm using a 12x10x2 Hammond enclosure. The control panel will be 24 inches remote from the chassis, and I'm wondering which RG-xxx co-ax cable to use. Apexjr has a few choices: http://www.apexjr.com/wire.html

RG-174 or RG-178?

Well, I picked up another Hammond today. L122. Guy originally wanted $200. I sent him a text six weeks ago saying, "Hope you can find this a good home, but if not, I'll give you $50." So yesterday, guy says OK.

Very similar to last one, except this one is working well. Has the same, vintage set of tubes. Even cleaner mechanisms. There's a lot of resale value if I strip it down, but very hard to shoot it for parts when it's purring along, right? Crap. May have just adopted an organ.

Xtian,

Organ and guitar go great together. think Mark Farner or Joe Walsh. Or John Lord with a couple of Marshalls. Just screaming away. I had a trio where I doubled on guitar and a Hammond CV organ. Ran into a Leslie and a Hiwatt 100 and two Sound City cabs...heaven. Back breaking to move but awesome.

Now I got an Alesis copy into a Rocket 1-12....and some hearing left too! LOL.

Go for it...
In theory, theory is the same as practice. In practice it's different.
