Tonal woes are over. In the big 80's I sent off 4 holers and as much as $1500 to have someone attempt this at least five times.

So when you said "sort of" like an 800, does this baby have 3 stages before the follower or just two?
I have a love/hate relationship with the Marshall EQ (but mainly with the pre-800 circuits): 1. It doesn't do much of anything, but you can't make it sound bad. 2. Low mids are good for OD and single coils, but mud for Les Pauls and cleans.
Think your EQ would help me out?
