Funny I moved from Mesa AZ to Lacrescent MN back in 97.

Big change.

Moved to St. Cloud in 1999. Too cold...

Out to Vancouver WA in 2003. Too wet....

When building a lower wattage say, a 22w 6V6 version with enough extra heater current for the possible use of EL34's, can the PS be made a bit smaller and retain the same tone ?

Yes I made on of these out of a Ceriatone Express using two can caps but you could go with individual caps on a board and keep the same tonal quality. The resonance pot adds back in bass so it isn't so bright.

Well I hope to start on this in Jan again to pick up where I left off (heading to France for a couple weeks soon so it will be after that). I've been waiting on getting my troubleshooting done on my other amps and rebuilding the Eagle Supre countless times to learn a bit more. I'm going to make a few minor changes to this build, just minor.

Mark I see you put in the FX loop. How does that configuration work? is this "delay pedal friendly"?

Yes the Boss DL-3 and Boss Reverb pedal work great through this simple effects loop.

Mark, How's the amp coming ?

I'm itching to build - I have too many salvaged transformers to use up and

my house is sinking

My last Hammond organ iron amp build went so well that I'm thinking a nice 20watt-ish AFD plexi is on next my list

.... or a little 20w Emplexador..

I really like having the resonance pot to bring the bass back in after adjusting the presence control.

So much gain the walls are rattling. :)

Effects loops very well.

The only thing I am going to do is go back in and use some shielded coax on the input which I should have done when I built the amp. :)

Ordered a 69 chassis from ValveStorm today with back panel since the front is blank so I can use my own front panel. Looks like a great chassis.

Going to use MC 40-18046 PT

Another Fowler HRP is coming alive.
