Yep. Tried that too. I've about run out of ideas. I read online where one person put in a high pass filter going to the recovery tube to get rid of it. Might try that next.

OK. Maybe I'm going down the wrong path. I thought it was all coming from the reverb ckt but I can short out the output of v1b (feeding the 3.3m/10pf ckt and the hum goes away. I put a scope on the PS and observed about 25mv of ripple. Is this enough to cause the problem?

I'm actually using the power supply filter section as in the Dumble clone. Mydumble clone is deak quiet. I put the grounds in the same place as the dumble.

Tried jumping a 20uf cap across the ps going to v1 but it didn't help anything. Tried switching tubes also.
