Geez, I should have know that Google would have something like that.
Krash, I take it you work for Cisco?
If so you are lucky they let you have the patents.
Many companies consider anything you invent while on their time is their intellectual property.
My Father in law holds several patents related to pond filtering for Koi fish.
He didn't apply for them until he was in his early 70's!

Oh they are clearly Cisco's intellectual property. They just bear my name. So I can take pride in them but not any actual revenue.

It's a part of the standard Cisco NDA that any and all inventions you come up with while under their employ are property of Cisco.

I kinda doubt they are going to try and lay claim to my amp designs. I don't have patent applications filed yet though.
