I think he's trying to say that 85c will be fine, maybe not the best in terms of durability.
Looking at the data sheet and the specifications of the different type of capacitors, i noticed that the “type A” which are rated for 85 celsius are just less durable if stressed over the threshold temperature for a long time. There is no mention about potential failure or safety hazard. Well, failure is always possible when there are so many variables.
Maybe is just the way i see it and i might be wrong with my interpretation of the data sheet.

Given the choice, 105C would be preferable, but axial electrolytics are getting harder to find. As mentioned above, F&T are widely used for new builds and replacements, probably one of the most popular caps used in guitar amps.
