If we could somehow transfer our knowledge to our kids: "Here's what tinnitus sounds like. Go ahead and use the 100W amp, and this is what you will hear constantly in 30 years." My 19 year old is getting married in 3 days. I really wish he had put it off 10 years, gotten a place of his own for a few years, then tried a roommate for a few years.... etc...

I was gonna look into some effects but my son asked if we could build an amp together for him. Of course he wants a 100 watt head and a 4x12 cab..

A Marshall JCM800 2203 100w would sure sound nice

It's just as difficult today, as it was back in our day, to get kids to practice safe stacks.
