It was back up around 130-131 again last night.Structo wrote:Wow, 129v?
They won't even consider doing anything about it unless it's routinely more than 132V (over 10% high).
Nashville Electric Service gets their power from TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) which is about 1/3 coal fired, 1/3 nuclear and the balance being hydro, gas, a small bit of wind and about 10% purchased from outside the TVA network. What is the current source in Tennessee?
Nuclear?
In the Northwest we mainly depend on hydro power.
Interestingly, TVA still produces weapons grade nuclear byproducts.
TVA owns a lot of hydro plants but just a few nuclear.Although they don't consider it a renewable power source because they will never build another dam here!
The tree huggers have all but destroyed the hydro power resource here to the extent of demolishing some dams already, to allow some fish to swim upstream.
Funny, I thought that was what fish ladders were for.....
Apparently nuclear is a lot more efficient than water.

Yes but I wish they would have thought about what to do with the nuclear waste product (spent rods) before they started using the reactors around the world.

Digital readout constantly updates.martin manning wrote:Hey does your power conditioner give you a peak since reset, over some recent time interval, or some more detailed record vs. time?Reeltarded wrote:Same as Martin here. It spikes over 125 though from what the conditioner tells me.
Sorry I haven't been around much. Trying to do a year of production in a month! Tired! My eyes aaah boinin'!

Just measured 122V in Kitchener, Ontario
Re: Typical Wall Voltage - US
They have. Harness tau particles to half life it all into gold. That's why the colliders have all been made IMHO.Structo wrote:Yes but I wish they would have thought about what to do with the nuclear waste product (spent rods) before they started using the reactors around the world.

127, fairly steady. I use a PS Audio P-1000 in my listening room to get steady clean blanced power.

124-129 in DC 'burbs. RG Keen's got a project for that: http://geofex.com/Article_Folders/vintvolt/vintvolt.htm
