I checked the Boogie 2:90 power amp, and Mark IV schematics that both use either 6L6's, or EL34's in the outer sockets.
They have 2.7k-2 watts on the screens on both amps; even for Triode mode.
Best compromise screen R for 6L6 and EL-34 operation
