Cut control taper and effectiveness

No, I said the Alpha was worse. Still with either one I can't hear any change until 3 o'clock.

After installing a new 250k Linear pot, I report that the cut is much more effective over it's whole range.

I really expected the Log to behave this way, but as I said before, I found that the cut was only noticeable at the very end of it's rotation.

I really recommend a linear pot for this application!
