Sag is another giveaway that you're in AB! If you were in true class A, the current drain on the power supply would be pretty constant.

..now consider: all the people who think they want class A would also probably demand a tube rectifier - yet without sag, there really is no need for a tube rect (looks cooler though).

..Also consider that the sweet spot in most push-pull amps occurs when you turn it up enough to take advantage of the B portion of your curve, in other words, most people like the sound of an AB load line whether they realize it or not.

I think whoever came up with the term "Class A" could have been a millionaire ad exec if s/he hadn't gone into engineering.
