Hey Mark, Tubeswell is from downunder so he may not have understood what hospice care is. This is basically where people who the hospital can no longer help are sent to live out the remainder of their lives. The terminally ill.

No disrespect intended Mark. Over here hospital and hospice are somewhat synonymous. My intent was to express my gratitude for the precious offer of information on the original topic of the thread, whilst at the same time wanting to be politely respectful on hearing about someone else's misfortune. On reflection a somewhat awkward (and on my part maybe clumsily-handled) paradox to be sure.

To me, death is another stage in the life cycle and something has got to get you in this world one way or another. Therefore I view the anticipation of one's own mortality as something that can hopefully be made to be as pleasant as possible, whatever the circumstances, allowing for the fact that some circumstances will be more heart-rending than others. That was all I meant. No offence intended.

Yeah Pete I was just pointing out the seriousness not trying to hassle you at all. When we read these posts we all read very fast and I was just pointing out the word Hospice verses hospital not thinking at all about that causing any hard feelings Pete.

Got them now thanks. The prescription ES topology is not too far removed from what I thought it might be. I wonder how it would go using that spare triode for a parallel triode in V1?

Look at the values for the plate and cathode, it is a parallel troide in V1.
