heck of a thing... I try to not use the chassis as a ground plane where possible.
But.... I modify a star system, a ground "node" etc.... give a measure of control
to the ground scheme.

I think for convenience I use a regular 1/4 jack to dress the sec. but the
input uses a cliff jack with a separate ground. Keep wire shielding to an intentional ground point too.
