6V6 is around 14watts cathode biased. 5881 is around 23 watts cathode biased.
IF you use a 300-0-300 140ma PT you can run 6V6's or 5881/6L6's.

That one is fine also. It's what I used. I've used 6K6, 6V6, 5881 and 6L6 with that PT and different rectifiers (5Y3GT, 5V4,GZ34 and solid state) which all give different voltages.
