I gave up on page 2....

When I was starting out I listened and followed the advice of my betters on here, some busy pro builders who took time out to advise, to the letter. Problems were solved so quickly.

Clean up with alcohol and a small brush. pin 5 v2 is a cold joint do see the solder has not flow to the wire. it molded around it. and people need to full shots of the whole chassis. is there any near where you live that has knowledge of amps the can go over the wiring. theres not a whole lot to this amp it should be fairly easy to figure out.

In the future, if you're going to have long component leads in close proximity to other components (like those of the resistors wrapping around the input jacks), you should sheath them with some wire jacket (aka spaghetti) or shrink-tubing. Sometimes arcing can be a problem.
