When I originally bought it I thought I could just take out the stuff I didn't need and use the rest.
But the way everything was mounted by wrapping the component leads around the terminal strips and such, I quickly ran out of patience.
So really, the only thing I left in the chassis was the PT and the rectifier socket.
I also didn't use the OT that was in it. I had a OT from my D'Lite that I used on this.
It went from this>

To this>
I shortened the chassis by cutting it down and folding up the end.

The last thing I did to it was add a 1/4, 1/2 power switch, and swapped out all the orange drops for Mallory 150's.
Like I said before, my original intent was to make a Deluxe circuit out of it.
But I didn't really like the way that sounded so I morphed it into more of a 6V6 Plexi circuit. Cathode biased of course.
I have a switch for different bypass caps on the preamp and also none to have a nice clean sound.
It has a nice growl to it now.
The power transformer on these are not that great as far as current supply goes. I believe the correct term is soft.
I also had to drop the B+ supply quite a bit. I think it was around 760v off the 5U4GB.
I used a 120v 50 watt Zener on the centertap to bring it down.
That worked well.
