Funk has experimented with it as well as others. Nobody I've talked to thinks it makes any difference. I do it with pre tubes just because it doesn't hurt and it's easy. I can't imagine it making any difference on Power Tubes but what the hey?doctord02 wrote:Hey Dan-

Seems I recall reading that there are some noise issues when wiring preamp tube heaters in series and to overcome them you wire them out of phase.
Of course, I could be smoking crack... memory aint what it used to be...

I think I was mixing up DC heaters in the preamp with this situation, and with it AC I doubt it will matter. Easy enough to change if needed...
