BB RI with Fender tremolo circuit?

Post by Mars Hall »

Howdy Everyone,

Here's what I'm thinking. My plans are to upgrade my BB RI with a Metroamp PTP board. What I want to do is replace the Tremolo circuit with a Fender type tremolo circuit.

I have a 61 Concert amp. The tremolo sounds just like a uni-vibe. This is the tremolo circuit I would like with my BB RI.

Is this possible? Will this combination work well together and sound good?

To me this sounds like a good idea. At the same time, I don't want to chase my on tail, if it's an "out of reach" goal.

It's the most difficult trem to employ other than Magnitone AFAIK. 3 or 4 triode's needed.

If it says "Vintage" on it, -it isn't.
