Hi,
I bought a used Boogie bass cabinet, where they'd used the psuedo-ElectroVoice 15" speaker in it. Man, I have never seen a voice coil so seized in the gap!
I can replace this with a good JBL that I have, but I'm wondering if it would be worth reconing this EV-like speaker? I have no idea whether this is EV without the badge, or just a cheap fake, or...
If it's worthwhile, who should do it? Weber wants $95 plus S/H, which actually seems pretty reasonable...
Other ideas?
