Am not a tech...just curious..recently got a mid 70's PR that I plan to mod around with...
Anyone know of preferrably non or not too invasive mods for a mid boost/fat switch and a tone stack lift?
Thanks in advance..

get a volume pot with a push\pull switch and replace one of the tone controls
if theres a guitar shop near you that deals with allparts.....they offer a
250k pot and switch..... it'll get you an extra switch without drilling holes in the chassis.
so you can fiddle around a bit without hurting the amp too bad

I just moded my Princeton build for a mid boost like that. What I did was to replace the bass pot with a push pull pot (250k as was mentioned) and I set it up to place a 15k resistor in series with the 6.8k resistor that is already in the amp. Together, you have 21.8k, which will provide a pretty significant boost.
