what resistor brands to avoid ?

what resistor brands to avoid ?

I read from the ampgarage that some resistor have high failure expectations but cannot find the post anymore :?

I would like to know the brand(s) that someone has had bad experiences with.

Somebody (Andy Fuchs maybe?) said something about another manufacturer having lots of trouble with KOA/Speer but others seem to have used them without issue. Maybe it was a certain type or batch, not sure.

Soldano had many Xicon 1/2W 100Ks fail but that was a few years ago I think. I believe CAA/Suhr had the same problem
