Where to find 6.5mm switching jack

Post by Mark »

Hi

I’m looking for a 6.5mm mono switching jack that has two switching options. I have found stereo ones, but I don’t want anymore junk to break in the jack than necessary.

The jack is to be used to bypass an effects loop when not in use.

Thanks for your assistance.

I can't see any need for such a thing as a mono be to be manufactured but I which you luck on your search .

I think Switchcraft 13A is what you're looking for. You can get them from Mouser or Digikey.

No. Not enough switch contacts. The 55X is the right jack but seems to be obsolete.

I may have to settle on the stereo jack, but I’d prefer to have the option not to. Thanks for your input.

It’s a pity as it’s what’s required. I may have to use a stereo jack instead. Thanks for your help.
