Copel Rotary Switch
I am sourcing a quality rotary impedance switch. Is the Copel Impedance Switch a good choice? I have not used that item and Hoffman does not carry the beefy ones I used on my D'Lite.

Re: Copel Rotary Switch
I don't have any experience with the Copel switch, but last time I looked, pickings were getting really slim for heavy duty rotary switches we can use as impedance selectors. NKK discontinued many of their nice rotary switches a couple of years ago, and they were the diy industry standard and good quality.
I've been using Schurter Rotary switches for my mains voltage and impedance selectors for several years and I really like them. They mount flush to the chassis and have a low profile like the older style Marshall switches they manufactured.
The one caveat is the lifecycle of rotations listed in the datasheet is not great. I actually contacted them and asked them if these figures were extremely conservative, and why there was such a large discrepancy between those products and comparable selector switches offered by other manufactures. A paraphrase of the response was basically, "the data has not been updated since those test were made several years ago when the switches were developed with no plans to update the design in the future because of the niche market." I suppose it's only a matter of time till those become unavailable as well.
I will say this with respect to the switching lifecycle for impedance and voltage selectors. I've had them installed in my amp since..... maybe 2016-17. I've never changed selection for my mains voltage, and maybe changed the impedance setting 10 times? maybe more, but I can promise you that I will take a sledge hammer and can of gasoline to that POS albatross before the switch gives out.
But, that's just me. Takes all kinds to make this world go 'round.
