When you get to it, post the voltages you have on this amp now, and the OT primary impedance. You may or may not have any issue with it as it is.

Hi Martin,

yes, I will first measure the amplifier voltages before adding the B+ reducer/screen voltage droppercome.
The power transformer in the ampli

should have been a TA M50 34, 340-0-340 of the Italian InMadOut which unfortunately left me after a few hours of operation. I'll never know if it broke because it wasn't enough for 4x 6V6 or because I tried to remove a flange to be able to insert it in the chassis horizontally instead of vertically. :roll:
Out of an excess of caution I purchased a Hammond 290FEX 320-320 518mA transformer which works great. The output transformer is a primary InMadOut transformer 4000 Ohm central tap 30Watt.
The result was an amp that sounds like none I've purchased or built. :D
