Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but here goes:
I recently acquired an old Sunn Solarus vertical 2x12 combo. The chassis is currently unmounted to the cabinet. I don't have access to any of the original mounting screws so that I can easily go to the hardware store and figure out the right screws to get. The chassis itself is machined to take a screw; there is no nut involved. Does anyone know what size screw those mounting holes take? What's a good way to figure this out? Just buy a handful of likely sizes and see what fits?
Thanks!
Chassis screw size for Sunn Solarus?

Getting a few sample screws would work, or maybe someone here will know. Post a picture of the threaded insert with something to provide a size reference, say a 1/4" guitar cable plug. If I had to guess, I'd say 10-32.

They are 10-24 x 1-1/4 on my Sceptre. Since all those chassis are basically the same I suspect yours use the same screws.

@sluckey right on, confirmed, that #10-24 1-1/4" was the right size for the chassis. Thank you!
