Marshall .68uF cathode resistor bypass cap

Post by sbirkenstock »

Hi everybody,

I was looking for a good sounding replacement for the .68uF cathode resistor bypass cap (V1) for the Mullard mustard that Marshall used in the Plexis.
Could not find anything as good...
By chance somebody added the cap (see photo attached) as case candy to another order. Just don´t remember which order because I order quite a bit over ebay......
Does anybody know this brand?

Any other replacement suggestions for the Mullard mustard?
I do not like the TAD at this position.

What brands did Marshall use in later Amps like the JCM 800 / 900 etc??

thanks a lot,
Stephan

Look for the Sozo or Synergy 0.68uF/160V as a replacement for Mustard caps.
