Alternative pilot lights?

Post by ChopSauce »

Essentially, I'd like to know where I could find pilot lights looking like that one

whatever the color - preferably in Europe -

:?:

I wouldn't mind any other suggestions, though... 8)

I've switched to leds. 1n4001 or whatever attached in parallel (opposite polarity of the led) and ~10k current limiting diode (for those clear super bright leds it's still brighter'n'ell), attached to the heater string
then you can put it in anything you'd like

By the way, that’s a beautiful cabinet. Did you make it? What species of wood is that?

Thanks for the link to xtian's. The above cab is from the Deluxe Speed Shop. I think it is poplar. See: http://www.tweeddeluxe.com/cabinets_heads.cfm

NB I thought the main advantage of the LED was having it drain the HT rather than having it on the 6.3V... :?:

EDIT: I thought I had posted this earlier...

I found a very close looking lens, to screw into a Fender style bulb support at Modulus amp.
