Good Speaker For Budda TwinMaster 1x12 Combo??

Post by zozoe »

Hi all~~ What would be a great choice in 12" speaker for my amp? Something with early breakup, and a low db sensitivity? I prefer an Alnico, but if a Ceramic is out there that fits the bill, cool!! And something that could take the Budda beating!🤔
Thanks~

And what type of music makes up the bulk of what you play, and also how many watts is the amp?

Hi STEVEM, the amp is the loudest 18-20 watts I or you've ever heard!! Good 'ol
R n' R,, seldom very clean, but when I do, it's pretty w/a chorus or flange,, always pretty much on that edge of breakup,,, I like to work my controlled feedback ala Ebow or my Sustainer guitar, & not into pedal distortions at all. So, it can't be anything at all susceptible to tone cry, & lastly on the in-sensitive, lower side of the db spectrum~~
Thanks

If the rock you play is more then 50% American bands then I would suggest to you the Jensen P12Q , or if you want less top end bit and a tad thicker Mids, the Jensen C12Q.
Both are under 95 db in sensitivity and both should be broken in by means of what you can find on line to do that.

If your wallet is big enough you can call up Weber and have them build you something that fits your needs like a Glove!

The uncle spot site is the one to reference speaker brake in info.
