Output impedance selector switch

Post by demonstratedspatulas »

I was using (mouser part no) 633-HS13Y-D for a while, getting em for $8 each or so.

Looks like that part has been deprecated. I called mouser and they suggested: 706-44A45-01-1-03N which are $50 each.

I located this one as well: 706-19001-03UL at $26.70 each.

Is there a cheaper option here? Hopefully something closer to $8 in price?

The bad news is that the switches in those links are the same switch, manufactured by NKK. So, once they are sold out of stock, that's the end of those.
Too bad, because those were quality switches.

I personally like the new flush mount style low profile switches manufactured by Schurter. The one I use for impedance switching is labeled 4-8-16
part# 00334032

and the mains voltage selector I use for North America, Europe, and Britain voltages is labeled 110V-220V-240V
part# 0033.4002

Arg! This is annoying. I hate to have to change the parts I'm using in between amps. (ie, once the NKK ones run out)

I like flush mount for voltage selection, but I would like a switch with a knob for impedance selection.

I'm going to consider 706-19001-03UL unless a better option comes along.
