Carr Mercury V
Does anyone have any technical information on the Carr Mercury V. I had a chance to play one for a second and thought it sounded amazing. I know it is a 6v6 PP and that it's roughly 16-18 watts with a tube reverb and an interesting attenuation circuit that seems to have some filtering, the eq was really responsive and had a lot of depth and affect. I didn't get to test the line out but people have mentioned online that it was pretty useable. I really would like to build a similar amp with the same feature set. I am just looking for opinions from the gurus as it's the first Carr I had ever played. I honestly would buy it if I could afford it but I will probably have to settle for reworking one of my beasts to sound more like it.
