Merry Christmas,
Looking to wire a champ type circuit with two output jacks, one connected to the 8 ohm secondary and one connected to the 16 ohm secondary. Because of the limited space would need to do it with no impedance selector.
I normally use shorting jacks and a switch to change secondary taps. If connecting the taps directly to the jacks, wouldn't non-switching jacks be more appropriate?
Also, any issues with using one jack to power the on board speaker and the other as an exterior - or stated differently are there any issues with using two of the output transformer secondary taps at the same time?
Thanks
Mike

Consider something like this: https://tubeamparchive.com/viewtopic.ph ... 223#267223

Thanks Martin,
As an FYI, I searched the forum several times without stumbling over that post.
Looks like it will do the job. As to my original question, it would not be advisable to use wire two separate secondary taps to switching jacks if wired in the usual switch to ground method.
Thanks & Merry Christmas

Re: No impedance selector
Correct re not using two shorting jacks. I'm not surprised that post didn't come up. I was able to find it because I already knew it was there. Cheers, Mike!
