Re: JJ 6L6G tube???
Had no luck with my email I sent to JJ Electronics. Had a reply from some lady who didn't know squat.
Eddie from Eurotubes had some to for me.

Only the very earliest production JJ 6L6's were noted with a "G". These tubes also have extra thick glass and maroon red bases. They're excellent tubes.
I would apply the same specs off the current data sheet: http://www.eurotubes.com/store/pc/viewP ... ategory=59
If you have any additional questions let me know.
Thanks,
Eddie
2nd email
The earliest dark maroon based 6L6G's were produced up until 97ish. The 6L6GC was simply a name change with no real internal modifications. They produced the maroon based 6L6GC through about 2000 and then switched to a red base for a year or so before going to the traditional black base.
Thanks,
Eddie
