so I built a Ceriatone 2203 kit and looking to make it into a higher gain amp. I added a extra gain stage with a separate turret board I made with components I'll post layout . I'm looking to but the tube before V1 as a (boost) with one triode side of the 12ax7. (For now) . Can't seem to get it working . Can a Someone help me out?

You have c1 grounded - try removing the ground from the r2/c1 junction.
