Tone stack wiring

Post by C Moore »

I looked on the big post here, but could not find a picture of the Xits 10 wiring.
Obviously, the pics from Fat Sound Guitars have disappeared.
Any of you guys that built one of these have pictures of your pots.?
I gave my build to a friend to play...he said it sounded fine...like a Vox, but the Treble Pot was wired backward.
So I checked it out, and he was right of course.
Sssoooooo.....I swapped the outside pot wires. That makes the Treble pot work properly.....but it also makes the Bass Pot operate backward.
Any guess as to what I am doing wrong.?
Thank You

Will take a look at these and report back. :)
Thank You

I THINK I see my error.
Instead of bridging the Bass Pot wiper and grounded input with the resistor.....I ran the 9k1 resistor from wiper to ground.
Let me fix THAT.....and then I can thank you guys properly.
