I'm going to build s tubed mic pre this winter. Thinking of the Drip redd 47.

Anyone have something better?

I want euphonic over accurate.

Take a look at the UA-M610 from the '60s. Neil Young has been using a board full of them for eons.

Altec 1566A is a sweet sounding circuit for single channel.
