PPIMV in a Blackstar Artisan 15

I like the ppimv in my fender supersonic and 1987x so much that I am going to attempt to install one in my artisan 15 and eventually artisan 100. The thing that has me puzzled is that the 15 splits 220k and 200k to ground. The class a switch appears to switch in a 2m2 resistor in series with the 220k. Being noob I do not see why they are mismatched? When installing the ppimv should I us 220k and 200k like the schem?

It also appears to me that the grid stoppers are already positioned very nicely so should I connect lug 2 of the dual gang to somewhere on the board to take advantage of the existing stopper? Thanks for any help someone can offer. Here is the pic I am looking at...
