Silvertone 1485 fuse

Post by hossymandias »

Hey all,

I'm repairing a 1485 for a friend. Neither the chassis nor schematic identify whether the fuse is slo-blow or fast. It had a slow in it, but I see some damaged components. Wouldn't a slo-blow be a bad idea, as it would give the short a chance to damage things? Or does it need a slo, because of the power surge as the amp is turned on?

I'm thinking myself in circles.
