Tube amp buzzing/humming noise?

Post by ryder »

i have a VM Voice of Music 8810 tube amp and it is making this humming/buzzing noise, i think its the tube. It also makes a high pitch sequel when u plug a speaker into it.

here is a link to a video of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V7iX9r9 ... e=youtu.be

You must have a speaker connected to a tube amp if it is turned on.

Failing to do so can fry the output transformer and possibly the power tubes.
