OT Primary and Secondary close to each other problematic

Post by ElectronAvalanche »

In my new build I need to pass the OTs primary wires and secondary wires through the same hole in the chassis.

Other possibility would be to take the secondary wires through a hole that is close to the controls of the amp.

I reckon that having the primary and secondary wires close together for a short distance is not problematic, since the same happens actually inside the OT.

Anyone having experience with this?

Thanks in advance,

Ton`s of amps route the wiring that way with no issue, so do not sweat it!

Hi Stevem,

thanks for your answer. I was sweating a bit thinking about having to redo the OT wiring.

So secondary and primary wires through a single hole from the OT is ok. Will report what I find.

Thank you,

Just some feedback:

having the primary and secondary wires out of the same whole in the chassis is NO problem.

Thanks again to Stevem.
