I'm going to be cleaning this amp up and checking things over tomorrow.
It has been on the shelf for many years collecting dust and the owner has been playing it but thought he better get it checked out.
Oh in the background is two pink mini-strats for my grand daughters that arrived today.

Look horrible, built horribly, but one of the better sounding modded Marshalls out there. Turn it up to full shred.

Just dusted mine off and played out with it a few weeks ago. First time I've had it out in years. Did a pretty good John Haggerty (Pegboy, Naked Raygun) impression. What a beast. GREAT sounding amp.
Plenty of info here - including schematics

I was also playing through my Blues 59 this weekend. Its the 50 watt version of this amp. Its always been one of my favorite amps.

Well now there's a rare amp. I've only seen pictures of them.

The gut shots.
Someone did some sloppy preamp resistor soldering from top side didn't lift the board. Also, what looks like a 1n914 size diode on the left is burnt looking along with residue on the board plus not sure if the blue cap is replacement.

Ya for a high gain amp it doesn't look as crazy as I thought it would.
Thanks for the pics!

No problem, I like to post pictures of different amps that come across the bench that I haven't seen before and for others to see.
It looks pretty good inside.
