Protecting your amp cabinet

Post by gktamps »

In the past I've cut and glued pieces of felt to amp feet to protect amp or speaker cabs from marks or dents when stacking.

Found a great deal on a big selection of thick, self-adhesive felt pads for furniture feet at Costco last week: Item 807686. Multiple sizes, most fit typical rubber amp feet perfectly, or at least very closely.

Cheers,

Greg

Good idea.

But I like the rubber feet on the tolex of the speaker cab because they won't slide around when playing at high volume.

I really haven't noticed any marking on the tolex, but it's black so......

Don't let that smoke out!
