The normal channel does have a 220uF cap on the normal channel and a 680n on the bright channel, the one with the capacitor bypass on the volume control and 4n7 coupling cap.

yes the 680n is for the bright channel were the 220uf is for the normal channel if its internally jumpered you might just start with 4.7uf on the normal channel thats were I ended up. but then I also had a push pull switch on the 1 m normal pot to get an extra 4.7 uf.
But at least start with a 22uf. Which was a suggestion in prior post your fluuby bass is from that cap not the 6v6 tubes.

I guess I just assumed the "normal" channel would be V1a. Apparently not, according to the Plexi6v6 schematic. Thanks for pointing it out, and the tips.

There's a 47pf across the PI plates.

Up this to 100pf and it should roll off some of the top end fuzziness.
