Totally agree on the last V series crate, they looked cheap and sounded cheap, I modded one for a local muso with the soldano mods, didn't make it into a soldano but a distinct improvement, do crate even do valve amps now?

Because I'm old when I first saw the title I too thought of Vicks.

But because I'm not that old I then thought of this. I bet Fender thought of it too:
