It was one of those mystery web quotes, but it seemed to fall in line with DC coupled amps.
pretty funny you go digging and what you find quoted in searches is past discussion threads on other audio sites all quoting the valve wizard page.
A pentode likes to see a high impedance at the plate, and a cathodyne likes to see a high impedance at the grid, and if the voltages are pretty close
bias issues are less of a concern.
The real issues with are the same a cathode follower, the heater to cathode voltage ratings, the high impedance makes it match well with a pentode and with high gain, to overcome the negative gain, less than unity, of the follower (invertor).
Anyway look at it as a follower first, there are still issues with grid current and bias which is why you see the development with a coupling cap, kangaroo invertor.
