Thinking of using this circuit for my ampeg fliptop bass look-alike. Seems very simple and straightforward, plus i've been itching to build a PP with substantial power. Thoughts??

Yep. Built two of them. IMHO they sound great and are easy builds. Some folks might want to adjust the coupling cap coming in for bass. I got my OTs from Heyboer for a reasonable price - 60 watts, 3.4K primary and 4, 8 & 16 secondaries.
